The Academic Cooperation Association (ACA) is a membership organisation. Its members are national-level organisations which promote and fund internationalisation of higher education.  ACA members are involved in a wide range of activities, such the delivery of student and staff mobility programmes (in most cases including the Erasmus+ Programme,) the promotion and marketing of their countries’ higher education worldwide, curricular internationalisation, and the provision of policy advice, to name but a few examples. Current membership is comprised of 24 members in Europe and a further three associate members in the US and Asia.  

Founded in 1989, the European Association for International Education (EAIE) is a European centre for knowledge, expertise and networking in the internationalisation of higher education. As a member-led association of more than 3.000 members from more than 95 countries, EAIE’s mission is to enable the international higher education sector, demonstrate the impact of internationalisation, and influence and engage policymakers and the public in support of our vision. EAIE strives to achieve this mission through a combination of training, conferences, and knowledge acquisition and sharing. EAIE partners with key stakeholder organisations and institutions to promote its membership’s interests and advance international higher education in Europe and the rest of the world.
